Baldwin Canoe Rental does have Tubes for rent on specific sections of the river. Many sections of the Pere Marquette are not suitable for tubing, and we do not allow tubes to be taken with other watercraft trips. We have one tubing trip available: A 2.5 hr. trip is $20.00 per tube, on Saturdays in July and August the tubes are prime priced at $23.00 per tube. If you wish to take our tubes to a different location, they can also be rented on a self-haul basis for $10.00 per day.
We are featuring "Tube Pro" float tubes, made specifically for commercial use. These tubes are heavy duty with canvass covers. They are large enough to accommodate adults of all sizes. We also have a supply of smaller tubes for children. All watercraft, including tubes require a U.S. Forest Service daily permit. This permit is included with rental of our tubes. We do not haul private tubes to or from the river, and no tubes (private or rental) are allowed to be towed behind any watercraft.
Due to the water temperature of the Pere Marquette, tubing is only practical during June, July, and August.
